Job Title: 

Junior Property Accountant

Job Types: 

Full-time, Permanent

Job Description:

• Rent roll processing (majorly residential rental properties)
• maintenance of property accounting records for the assigned portfolio
• Post cash receipts and expense claims
• Preparation of bank reconciliation
• Analyze property records and address outstanding issues 
• Assist with various functions within the accounting department as assigned

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in bookkeeping or accounting
• Minimum 1 year's experience in a similar accounting position
• Previous property administration/accounting experience is a strong asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; most notably in Excel
• Proven success in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Team orientation and personable, positive approach

Schedule:

• 8 hours shift
• Monday to Friday
