General Labourer

The primary role of a General Labourer is to safely, efficiently and in accordance with strict procedures operate equipment in order to process, dry, and package pet food/treat products required for the manufacture of safe and high quality food products. Ideal candidate will participate in team efforts to achieve department goals, and provides support to other roles within the daily operations as required.

Qualifications and Skills

• Cleaning and clearing work sites to ensure that no dangerous materials are evident during project work.
• Follow instructions from more experienced employees to operate machines, hold or supply materials and tools, and load and unload items from machines and assembly lines.
• Communicate in English
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• Able to work in a noisy and fast-paced environment
• Reliable and organized
• Consistent employment history (reference check will be conducted upon conditional job offer)
• Some overtime may be required
• Ability to speak Mandarin is a bonus
