我们目前诚招一名经验丰富的水质管理员加入我们的团队,具体职责及任职要求如下:
主要职责 1. 水质管理与化学品控制 - 每日监测并维持泡池水质指标,包括氯溴含量、pH值、碱度、钙硬度及水温(BC省法规上限:40°C) - 操作及维护过滤、循环及自动化加药系统 - 保存完整水质检测记录,供卫生局官员检查使用 - 及时发现并处理水质问题,如浑浊、异味或藻类滋生等 2. 设施运营与维护 - 监测并维护泳池水循环及处理系统,确保其正常运行;如遇设施异常或故障,须及时向管理层报告 - 对浸泡池区域、池边地面、更衣室及淋浴区进行清洁及日常巡检 - 执行开放前检查及关闭程序 - 协调日常维修保养工作,必要时联络外部承包商 - 确保所有安全设备(急救箱、AED自动除颤仪、紧急关闭装置)齐备且处于可用状态 3. 法规合规 - 全面遵守《BC省泳池法规296/2010》(热水浴池水疗泡池专项条款)及所在地区健康局的相关规定 - 维护所有法定记录本及文件,配合环境卫生官员(EHO)的日常检查 - 及时处理卫生局发出的整改指令或改善建议 - 确保所有相关证书及资质持续有效,并按时更新 4. 安全与应急响应 - 执行设施使用规则,包括浸泡时限、年龄限制及健康警示 - 处理现场突发事件,包括热晕厥、化学品泄漏及紧急疏散 - 对员工开展WHMIS化学品安全及应急程序培训 5. 宾客服务与团队管理 - 以专业、热情的态度为所有宾客提供优质服务体验 - 解答宾客有关设施使用及安全规定的咨询 - 监督、培训并协助兼职员工及服务人员完成日常工作 - 保持泳池区域清洁整洁,为宾客提供安全舒适的环境 6. 其他事项 - 完成管理层交办的其他相关工作任务
任职要求: 1. 持有有效的 BC省泳池操作员证书,须涵盖热水浴池水疗泡池操作(必要条件) 2. 具备至少1–2年公共热水浴池、水疗或水疗设施运营经验 3. 熟悉《BC省泳池法规296/2010》,尤其是热水浴池及水疗泡池相关条款 4. 持有有效的标准急救证书(Standard First Aid + CPR-C) 5. 持有WHMIS 2015 认证,具备化学品安全处理实操经验 6. 能够在高温高湿环境中持续工作,可搬运50磅以上重物
优先条件 1. 具备溴基水处理系统操作经验 2. 有酒店、健康度假村或健身会所水疗设施运营背景 3. 具备基础管道或机械设备维护能力 4. 英语与普通话粤语双语沟通能力者优先
About the Role We are seeking a certified Pool Operator to manage the daily operations of our hot tub / spa pool facility, including soaking pools, hydrotherapy tubs, change rooms, and shower areas. The successful candidate ensures a safe, hygienic, and fully compliant environment in accordance with BC's Pool Regulation (BC Reg. 296/2010) under the Public Health Act, which covers all public hot tubs and spa pools.
Key Responsibilities 1. Water Quality & Chemical Control - Monitor and maintain daily water chemistry including chlorine/bromine levels, pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, and water temperature (BC regulatory maximum: 40°C) - Operate and maintain filtration, circulation, and automated chemical dosing systems - Maintain accurate water quality logs for health authority inspection I- dentify and promptly resolve water quality issues such as turbidity, odor, or algae growth
2. Facility Operations & Maintenance - Monitor and maintain pool water circulation and treatment systems and make sure it smooth operation. Report to the management and/or if any incident or malfunction of the facilities - Conduct cleaning and daily inspections of soaking pool areas, pool deck, change rooms, and shower facilities - Execute pre-opening checks and closing procedures - Coordinate routine maintenance and liaise with contractors for repairs as needed - Ensure all safety equipment (first aid kits, AED, emergency shutoff systems) is present and fully operational
3. Regulatory Compliance - Ensure full compliance with BC Pool Regulation 296/2010 (hot tub/spa pool provisions) and applicable regional health authority requirements - Maintain all required logbooks and documentation for Environmental Health Officer (EHO) inspections - Address health authority orders or improvement notices in a timely manner - Make sure all related certifications and credentials are valid and up to date
4. Safety & Emergency Response - Enforce facility rules including soaking time limits, age restrictions, and health advisories - Respond to on-site emergencies including heat-related illness, chemical spills, and evacuations - Train staff on WHMIS chemical safety and emergency response procedures
5. Guest & Team Relations - Provide a professional and welcoming experience for all facility guests - Answer guest inquiries regarding facility use and safety guidelines - Supervise, train and support part-time or service staff in day-to-day operations - Keep clean and safe environment for guests around the pool areas
6. Others - Perform the duties as assigned by the management
Required Qualifications 1. Valid BC Pool Operator Certificate covering hot tub / spa pool operations — mandatory 2. Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating a public hot tub, spa, or hydrotherapy facility 3. Solid knowledge of BC Pool Regulation 296/2010, specifically hot tub and spa pool provisions 4. Current Standard First Aid + CPR-C certification5. 5. WHMIS 2015 certification with demonstrated experience in safe chemical handling 6. Ability to work in a hot and humid environment and lift up to 50 lbs..
Preferred Qualifications 1. Experience with bromine-based water treatment systems 2. Background in hotel, wellness resort, or fitness club aquatic operations 3. Basic plumbing or mechanical maintenance skills 4. Bilingual in English and Mandarin / Cantonese is an asset |
