Selling our 2005 Volkswagen Touareg V8. We have really enjoyed this SUV and have maintained it over the years. We are selling only because our replacement vehicle is on the way.

170,917 km as of August 31, 2026.
I am still driving it daily for my child's school drop-off and pick-up, so the mileage will increase slightly. The school is only about 2.3 km from our home, so most current driving is very short distance.

The Touareg runs and drives and is still being used every day.

Known issues

I want to be completely transparent about the vehicle:

• Oil leak
• Air conditioning does not blow cold air
• Front passenger door currently only opens from the inside
• Front passenger window opens and closes but makes a noise when operating
• Previous accident: front bumper plastic was cracked and there was a minor scratch on the rear passenger side. Both have been fixed.

This is a 2005 vehicle, so please expect normal wear and age-related imperfections.

We recently brought it to a dealer for trade-in and were offered approximately $1,800+. Instead of trading it in, we decided to offer it privately first.

We have enjoyed this car very much and would rather see someone who needs an affordable vehicle get some more use out of it. It may also be a good choice for someone who is mechanically inclined and can take care of the smaller repairs themselves.
