Warehouse Admin Assistant I (Morning)

THL Gourmet Foods Inc. is one of the leading importers and distributors of Asian food products from the Pacific Rim and other regions of the world. We are seeking a team-oriented individual to join our Warehouse department at our Burnaby location.

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Administrative Assistant I position will support the Warehouse office in an administrative capacity and handle light shipping duties.

Working Hours:

• 40 hours per week
• Any 8 hours between 04:00 AM – 03:00 PM, Monday – Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Data entry with daily pickup and delivery
• Monitor sales orders, pickup requests, and WMS orders progress
• Communicate with Sales and Purchasing Department and response to inquiries
• Communicate with drivers, carriers and 3rd party logistics companies regarding deliveries and pickups
• Monitor and assign docks for shipping and receiving
• Handle invoices and data entry for freight charges
• Issue invoices and prepare required shipping documents

Requirements/ Must-Haves:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Administrative and customer support experience
• High attention to detail and strong organization skills
• Familiar with Microsoft Office 365
• Good communication skills
• Ability to multitask and adapt to change
• Fast learner
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting (up to 50lbs.)

Assets/ Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with WMS and ERP systems
• Background in supply chain, logistics, shipping, and receiving
• Understanding of work safety standards

Benefits:

• Expected Hourly Wage: $20.73 to $24.37
