Warehouse Receiver

THL Gourmet Foods Inc. is one of the leading importers and distributors of Asian food products from the Pacific Rim and other regions of the world. We are currently seeking a team-player to work in our warehouse department in Burnaby location.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiver to join our growing logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and accurately documenting all incoming shipments. Working collaboratively with warehouse operations, inventory, and logistics teams, you will play a key part in ensuring stock accuracy, warehouse efficiency, and product integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders and delivery documentation
• Inspect shipments for damage, discrepancies, or missing items, and report issues promptly
• Accurately enter inventory data into the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Safely transport and store materials in appropriate overstock racking locations
• Replenish pick bins and maintain organized, accessible inventory zones
• Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counts as scheduled
• Support outbound operations by loading trucks and trailers efficiently and securely
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements/ Must-Haves:

• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment
• Strong attention to detail with basic math and counting skills
• Demonstrated accuracy in inventory handling and documentation

Assets/ Nice-to-Haves:

• Previous experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics roles
• Forklift and/or Reach Truck certification and operating experience
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)

Compensation & Benefits:

• Expected Hourly Wage: $18.22 to $24.37
