| 详情描述 THL Gourmet Foods Inc. is one of the leading importers and distributors of Asian food products from the Pacific Rim and other regions of the world. We are currently looking for a Sales Admin Assistant II to join our team.
Position Summary:
The Sales Admin Assistant II plays a key role in supporting daily sales operations by handling order processing, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring timely and accurate service to customers. This position works closely with the Sales and Warehouse teams to support order fulfillment, customer inquiries, and administrative processes in a fast-paced environment.
This is a 1-year full-time contract position, ideal for someone with hands-on sales administration experience who is looking to further develop their skills in sales operations and logistics coordination.
Working Hours:
- 40 hours per week
- 8-hour shifts scheduled between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process and enter customer orders into the system in a timely manner.
- Monitor order postings, deliveries, and follow up on discrepancies; issue credit notes as required.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth daily operations and on-time delivery.
- Coordinate and schedule pickup appointments with carriers.
- Assist with invoicing and basic accounts receivable (AR) tasks.
- Process Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) and support stock adjustments.
- Set up new customer accounts and maintain accurate customer records.
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist walk-in or pickup customers as needed.
- Maintain organized records and provide general administrative support.
- Perform other related duties as required to support departmental operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Post-secondary diploma or coursework in Business Administration or a related field is an asset.
- Previous experience in a sales support, sales administration, or customer service role.
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual with the ability to follow established processes and instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Intermediate proficiency with office software (e.g., MS Office).
- Self-motivated with strong organizational, multitasking, interpersonal, and administrative skills.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team in an office-based setting.
- Positive, professional attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in verbal and written English.
Assets / Nice-to-Haves:
- 1–2 years of relevant sales administration or related experience.
- Experience or training with Accpac and/or EDI systems.
- Proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese (spoken and written) to support communication with international customers or suppliers.
- Basic accounting knowledge or experience is an advantage.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Expected Base Hourly Rate: $18.66 – $24.95 (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
